Letters
Tips for Letters
Getting clean letters, strong boxes and stencils that hold together.
- Bold, rounded fonts make the strongest letter boxes; thin serifs are hard to wrap with a hinge.
- Thicken by 0.3 to 1 mm helps thin fonts survive cutting.
- In a letter box, cut flat dots and accents and glue them on the lid, or tick Stack to full height.
- Use two bridges for large stencils so the centres do not twist.
