Bend Analysis
Will the hinge bend round your corners without cracking? Bend Analysis estimates it and lists what to check.
Bend Analysis works out the tightest radius the hinge can reach from the torsion-bar strain of your material, and compares it with your corners.
- Green: the hinge bends round your corners with room to spare.
- Amber: close to the limit. It may crack; Auto-fit or a longer slit helps.
- Red: it will crack. Use a fix from the list.
The minimum radius is an engineering estimate. Cut a bend test strip (Sheet section) in your own material before the whole box.
